Tempest Raging

There's a tempest inside each of us
Raging strong and wild and fierce.
From heart to heart,
From soul to soul,
The darkness light does pierce.
You feel the current pulling strong
To take you in its arms,
To pull you down,
And make you drown,
Embracing with full charms.
As you sink in lifes great sorrows
Under waves of great despair,
You reach for what tomorrow brings,
Lunge upwards, gasp for air.
The clouds above hang gloomily,
Like smoke upon the sky.
Where once was life, there now is none.
Faint glimmer catch the eye.
In comes the thunder, lightning strikes.
Rain begins to fall.
The noise crowds in, you sink again
Like sand beneath a wall.
Life leaving fast, dreams soaring by,
You're remembering your past.
One time in particular sticks out above the rest.
The day you loved and lost my friend,
The day you failed the test.
The test of one who loves in vain,
The day that never came.
The day you let her walk away,
Tuck your head and sink in shame.
The fury of it all around
Lies heavy on that day.
For you were a fool to care for her
Whose birthday falls in May.
Now pay the price, your life will cost
Give up, all hope is lost.
With failing strength, your thoughts remain
With the girl who brought the rain.
Last breath comes forth and with it rides
A message for the tides.
"I love you still, and always will,
What right to love do I, farewell my dear
No need to cry, in your thoughts I will be near."
The final darkness closes in,
The final breath was spent.
Slowly dies the once strong wind
Take the message that was sent.
That "I love you still, and always will,
What right to love do I. Farewell my dear
No need to cry, in your thoughts I will be near."

Loves Tragedy

There was a day,
Not so long ago.
It wasn't may,
and not a day of snow.

When a young man saw,
his world before his eyes.
In the form of a girl,
who had so many guys.

They were all around,
they came from near and far.
But still he held the crown,
and felt it turn to tar.

Cold and slippery his heart began to turn,
His heart was like a wild fire, and easily did burn
With a love that lasts forever. A love that feels so right.
A love to end not ever. A love so full of plight.
His heart's cold feel ensued him, as he found he had no chance.
For the one he loved forever, with some other guy did dance.
He tried to tell her sweet things. He tried to tell her truth.
That they could be forever. But her heart could not be soothed.
He sought everyway he could think of, to change her heart around,
but her love still wanders freely, And his doth make no sound.
There was a day for it's beating, but that days long since dead.
For the love he'll love forever, is messing with his head.
He still goes on, still tries to cope
with the woman he loves so dear,
But he's losing hope, he's losing cheer,
as he reallizes he just can't win. With a girl so sweet and special,
In a life so frail and thin. Now life goes on, but love can not,
for he's found the one for him, she's the one so sweet and special,
The one so tall and slim, with her eyes of ginger and velvet, and a
smile more like a rose, her voice like a barrel of honey, so sweetly
does it flow. But she's with the other. All hope is lost. And love's
sweet tragedy plays.
